Utilizing their extensive  experience of working closely with young people, the instructors' here at PHS, provide one-on-one guidance and personalized instruction.  This approach helps meet the specific needs of each student.

JROTC students sharpen their leadership and confidence skills with extra curricular activities.  Drill team, color guard, raiders, rifle team and summer camp challenge them to use classroom lessons as part of a team.  In addition, students become positive representitives of their school and communities.

As retired military personnel, the instructors at PHS have years of experience, training and working with young people.

Hired and responsible to the school, the 3 instructors at PHS are trained and certified by the U.S. Army in proven military instructional techniques.
Trained
All JROTC text-books, instructional materials, uniforms, insignia, flags and equipment are supplied by the U.S. Army.  Unlike most school in South Carolina, PHS does not charge you to take JROTC.
Low Cost
Students must maintain a 'C' average to be able to continue the program in their next year of high school.
