Any cadet in JROTC that is willing to put the time and effort is welcome to particpate in the Color Guard. Cadets who are on the Color Guard learn drill moves they would not typically learn during normal drill training. The Color Guard actively particpates in presenting the Colors at all home football games, some basketball games as well as a few vollyball games. The PHS Color Guard also presents the Colors at the Clemson Basketball games. The Color Guard also is responsible for raising and lowering the National and state flags in front of the PHS everyday. Along with presenting the flag at games the Color Guard Presents the Colors at the Veterans Day parade at Pickens as well as many ceremonies across the county.
